Jr's recovery...

Well it has been a rough day and a half with our sweet boy Jr. The surgery went well yesterday but he is just pitiful. Yesterday at the hospital he had an iv for fluids but he was refusing to drink or eat a popsicle. We had to stay a little longer then most bc they were worried about him not drinking. They finaly let us go home. We are haning to force the meds and drinks down his throat with a medicine dropper but then it all comes right back out so we are not sure how much he is getting. Pray that he starts feeling well enough to drink bc if not then he could get dehydrated and end up in the hospital again. He is napping now and maybe when he wakes up he will be feeling better! I know in a few days he will be okay but I just hate to see my baby suffering and there is nothing I can do. Pray Pray Pray!!!

Yesterday and today my heart is so heavy for all the moms and dads out there whos children have to have surgeries all the time or are dealing with cancer and very sick. When they took Jr back yesterday they had to pry him out of Matthews arms bc he was refusing to go and was screaming crying. So Matthew and me just lost it. The whole time he was back there I was a nervous wreck and just kept asking God to keep him safe. Then when they brought him up to his room after being in recovery we were waiting on him and as soon as he got in my arms he started crying saying "dont leave me momma dont leave me" I lost it again. So today and everyday here after I will be in prayer for the parents who go through this daily with thier child. I cant imagine what that is like.

Jr

Tomorrow Jr will get his tonsils and adnoids out and tubes put in his ears. For a while now Jr has been struggling to sleep, breath, and hear. I really started noticing it when Tinsley was born because I was up in the middle of the night and listened to him sleep. He will stop breathing and snore like a grown man. He always has his mouth open because he cant breath out of his nose and his hearing is awful because of all the fluid in his ears. There are a few other issues and we decided that now was the time to get everything done. I am a little sad at the same time because they said that after he gets this done that he will be a completely differant kid. He will be able to talk clearer because he will be able to hear better. He will be able to sleep better and not so restless and he wont druel as much because he will be able to breath out his nose. I feel like he will change so much. I know its for the better but at the same time I love the way he talks and is right now. I think I will miss it. I am going to video tape him today talking so that I can have it forever and we can compare how he gets better. I am also really nervous about him having to be put to sleep. He will just be so helpless and I wont be there to control the situation. Say a prayer for us tomorrow. I know God is in control and I am SOOO THANKFUL for that! I will update after we get home. We have to be there at 630am and the surgery should start around 8! It will last an hour or so and then he will be in recovery and then taken to a room for 2-4 hours until they say he can go home! Lots of popsicles and icecream for the next 2 weeks!!!

4 weeks ago today I went from baby bump to a beautiful baby in my arms!!! Our life has forever changed with the birth of our daughter! All four of us are so in love with her!
I love this picture of me pregnant. Matthew has made it pretty clear that Tinsley is the last baby we will have from my womb, ha!. I so enjoy being pregnant even though I have AWFUL pregnancies!!! God's miracle of babies is truly amazing!
Who knows, maybe one day we will have another baby but for now I am enjoying my three little miracles from God!
