Garden

We went to pops and yayas garden the other evening! the kids love eating right out of the garden! it is soooo yummy! this night we had blueberries and peas!

WINGS!

Jr loves him some hot wings!!! So does his mommy and daddy, we are sooo proud! And yes that is a mustache on his face. This was the same day as Henrys Stache Bash so both boys had mustaches for the day!

Great end to a great year!

Today was Jr's last day of preschool. This was his first year. He went every Tuesday and Thursday from 930-130.  He learned so much and made so many new friends. Watching Jr grow and learn and come home singing new songs was such an incredible thing. He was always so proud to tell me all he learned and did! We are so thankful for Acworth United Methodist and Ms Dyanna and Ms Kim! They made Jr's first year soo enjoyable. Even on the days he went kicking and screaming because he wanted to stay home, Ms Dyanna did so good with him and made him feel so special and loved! We are excited to go back there next year where he will be doing Monday thru Thursday!

Today was his class party. They had ice cream with all the toppings! Colton and Tinsley loved being able to have some as well! It was a fun day!

We had a fun school year and are excited about next year as it will be the last year before Jr starts kindergarten! I plan on heading to the school box in the next few weeks to get some fun things so that I can do some "school" this summer with the boys! They both love to learn new things so I think it will be fun, or at least im going to try and make it fun with experiments and field trips along the way! Im excited for summer to begin!!!

Dentist Fun!

Jr and Colton had thier first dentist appts today! They did great. Jr had gone with me yesterday to get a cavity filled and he was nervous that they were going to do that to him but after talking with him and Mrs Stacy showing him the tools she would use to brush his teeth, he was fine. I was thankful Matthew got to meet us there because both boys wanted to sit in our laps while getting cleaned and Tinsley was all over the place and Westin wouldnt stop crying if he was put down! It was crazy for a small room but we survived!

Westin also had his 6 month check up this morning. He is growing great and looking good! 18.4lbs and 27in! But, like all my kids, his head is in the 95%! ha! This was our first appt of the day and as we were getting out of the car I realized I forgot Tinsley's shoes. So at the doctor and dentist she was barefoot. Oh well!  Enjoy the pics of the day!

The boys had a great 2012 Tball season! Today was thier last game and they both did awesome. Colton got a little tired towards the end and decided he didnt want to play so he sat in the dirt! Jr got a little attitude towards the end of the game and he told me later that "the other team was taking to long to hit the balls"..he is a little competitive but is very passionate about baseball. He will move up to coach pitch in the fall and is very excited to start playing "real" baseball where there is 3 outs and they start teaching them more about how to play the game and continuing in fundamentals. They got thier trophies today. This is coltons first trophy and he is thrilled about it! As I type this he is beside me holding it tight!

They had lots of fans today. All thier grandparents, sibling, momma and daddy, 2 great grand parents, great uncle nelson, and the julian family! Jr was trying hard not to smile every time he got up to bat. He was playing tough but we could tell he was so happy to have everyone there. And colton, well he just smiles all the time and is happy to be where ever he is! He loves life!

Our Tmae!

Our baby girl is 18 months old. She is loving, cuddly, sweet, beautiful, dramatic, hilarious, high maintenance and such a joy!

She was 22lbs at her checkup and was tall but I cant remember her height. She has 14 shiny teeth with a few more making thier way. Her hair is growing like crazy but Im scared to cut it because I dont want to lose her sweet curls she has in the back. So for now she wears lots of piggy tails to hide the mullet and clips to keep it out of her eyes!

She likes to wear her brothers shorts.  And play with thier toys and in the mud with them. She is rough and tough. When she falls she hardly ever cries and just gets back up and goes about her buisness even if shes bleeding.

But she can be soooo girly and nurturing. She loves to dress up and carry a purse. She sleeps with 3 baby dolls and has one in her hand most of the days. She will feed them and pretend to change thier diaper with Westins diapers. There is always a bow in her hair, not because of me, but because she gets one and brings it to me to put in.

I cant believe it was just 18months ago when she was a sweet newborn! So much has happened since she was born and she is still just a baby! She is talking and running and letting people know whats on her mind and what she wants! She is a wonderful big sister even though she still thinks of Westin like a baby doll! All she has to do is point and grunt at what she wants and her brothers go right over and get it for her. She has them, and her daddy, wrapped around her sweet finger! Its cute and trouble! ha!

We love watching her grow and learn everyday! She keeps us busy with her climbing and getting into things but we wouldnt have it any other way!We LOVE our girl!!!

NYC

This past weekend me, my mom and sisters went to NYC! My sister Chrissi had a buisness trip and invited us to go along! It was so much fun and great to get away and be out of my "element" for couple days. And being away with my mom and sisters is very rare these days since usually the kids are with us. We got there early Friday morning. Made a stop by a venue Chrissi had to visit for a client of hers, went to the hotel and dropped our stuff of then headed on to subway down to the 9-11 memorial and the water where we could see the Statue of Liberty. It was very windy and cold but so beautiful on the water. The 9-11 memorial was incredibly moving (especially seeing all of the names of the men women and children who died and seeing names with "and her unborn child"). Its a beautiful memorial and Im thankful I got to see it. We went to Time Square that night and ate at a yummy pizza place. It was freezing outside, literally. So after going in Toys r us and the loft and taking some pics we headed back to the hotel and got in bed around 11 or so.

Chrissi had to leave early Saturday morning for an event. The rest of us got up and ready and headed to panera for breakfast then got on the subway and headed towards Chrissi's event at Yankee Stadium. We got a little lost on the subway and we were late but we did make it! Later we took a walk thru Central park, which was awesome! Then we went to Meatball Shop. A yummy place to eat. We met up with old friends and had the best time ever!!! I loved getting to see Amber. My high school friend who was also in my wedding. I love her and miss her like crazy!!! It was like we had never been a part which is how true friends should be. It was a 3hr wait to eat so we didnt eat dinner till 11pm. CRAZY! But, it was so good!

The last day we woke up and ate at The Doughnut Plant. It was sooo good!!! We got ready and checked out of the hotel and walked a lot this day. We went to NBC Studios, Rockefeller Plaza, ate lunch in Union Station and then walked across the Brooklyn Bridge. That was a beautiful walk. My phone died on friday so i dont have many pictures but hopefully I can get some from my sisters soon! We got home late sunday night but it was a wonderful trip and I am so thankful my sister asked us to go along! Thanks Chrissi!
