my weight loss journey

Matthew and I have been married for 5yrs (6 in January). For the majority of this time I have been pregnant and/or nursing. I have put on baby weight and have not really gotten it all off before getting pregnant with the next baby. This cycle continued 4 times. So, I have had about 40-45lbs I need to get rid of and have them never ever return!

So, this past late May I started my weight loss journey. I had stopped nursing Westin so it was easier for me to watch what I ate bc while nursing I craved nothing but carbs all. the. time. So by watching what I ate and only drinking water, I started on my journey. In June I started working out with my brother in law Bobby. He is the best personal trainer! He was a huge help to me when I started. I have stopped working out with him because school has started back and between driving to Roswell and to acworth it was just too much in gas so for now I am not working out with him but I cant wait for the day when I can start back! He is awesome! Let me know if you want his number!

But, I am still watching what I eat and going on lots of walks, especially with this great weather! So I have lost 25lbs since I started!!! Unfortunatly, I have been stuck at 25lbs for a couple of weeks now. I would love to lose 20 more pounds. Since I reached my first goal of 25 I got to get my haircut and colored. Now I have my second goal of 20lbs to be at my goal weight. I am still trying to decide my treat for that. I get more motivated when I have something to look forward to.

So, its coming off little by little and for that I am thankful! 25 down, 20 to go! I hope to be there by Thanksgiving. Here are some pics taken in the middle of June compared to pics taken last week. Any tips on how you lose weight or what works for you? I would love to hear them!

Beautiful!

Yesterday was a beautiful day for a wedding! Our friends Courtney and Chris got married. They had asked Jr and Colton to be thier ring bearers. The boys were so excited! I was a little nervous because at the rehersal Jr did not want to do it and was crying the whole time. Colton was loving it and did a great job. So yesterday I prayed would be differant and they would both do it. They did awesome. They walked down the aisle and stood there so still and quiet for the whole ceremony. I was so proud of them and they were pretty stinkin cute!!

We LOVE Courtney and Chris and are so excited to see what God does in thier lives together. They both love my children like they are thier own and we are so thankful for them! We cant wait to return the love one day!!! Love you both. It was a BEAUTIFUL day and ceremony and all night dance party!!! Jr was a maniac on the dance floor. He had a blast!!!

Westin Crawling

Westin has started to some what crawl. He is my latest to do this. The others I think were 6/7mo old. Westin will be 10mo old on Saturday. Its not his fault that I push him down everytime he starts to crawl. HAHA! But seriously, his little crawl is just too funny! I love this boy!!!

Tinsley was so happy to be able to feed her baby brother the other night! She did a wonderful job and fed him his entire 8oz bottle!

I put one of the pictures up on facebook and everyone was commenting on how big westin looked compared to tinsley! They do weigh the same its just Tmae's head is smaller and she is longer! Too funny!!!

A new season!!!

Its that time of year again! We are super excited that fall ball is here. This year is even more fun and busy because the boys are in differant leagues on differant teams! Colton is on the Flordia Gators coached by Matthew and playing tball. Jr is on the Auburn Tigers assistant coached by Matthew and playing coach pitch. Between multiple practices a week for both boys and games Saturdays and Sundays I have some busy boys.

Today was opening day and both boys played at 10. So me and the babies were back and forth trying to watch everyone play and cheer them on! Thankfully we had family there to help out so that someone was always at one of the games watching and cheering! They both did great!!!

I grew up at the baseball field with both of my brothers playing thru college. I loved every second of it and it is some of the best memories I have. We traveled a lot with thier teams and just had fun! Along with them playing, me and my sisters all played softball and all 5 of us played basketball and some did track and my oldest sister did drama....there is probably a lot more we did but I cant think right now. Anyways, I have always looked forward to the days when we would be busy running back and forth to get everyone where they need to be. It is starting now with the boys and though it was a little stressful for me today because I wanted to be with them both but I had to split my time, it was fun and a part of our season of life we are in right now! I am thankful for this season and what we are learning and how God is growing us daily...yes, He is growing me and teaching me thru my boys playing baseball!

So for the first time ever in my life I am shouting "War Eagle" and " Go Gators"!! haha!

And for some reason my blog wont let me upload any of my pictures. This is the only one that worked! Once I get it figured out I will post more pictures of the boys on gameday!!
