Things I will laugh about....one day!

Tonight was going to be a fun night with my kiddos. Matthew was working so I was going to go meet my parents and go to my cousins lacross game, it was Senior night and he is graduating from Walton this year!!!

We started out at Panera to eat dinner. As soon as we sat down to eat Tinsley decided to throw up everywhere and on herself. So I took her changed her and we continued eating. She has been fussy and puky the past 2 days and I think its bc I swtched her formula so before going to the game I went to target to get her formula she likes. I was already dreading having to get all three kids out for just 1 item..(and i am driving the civic bc the yukon is just too expensive right now, but to do this i cant have Tinsleys base in the car so i have to get her in and out and strap the seat everytime which is a pain. so i usually just get her out of the seat and hold her if its a quick trip.)

I finally get the boys in the cart and start to head in target. Well, the WHOLE time they are going back and forth with "hes touching me" "hes looking at me" "hes poking me"...you get the picture. so i grab the formual and head to check out and realize tinsley had pooped all out her diaper, NASTY! well i didnt have another outfit for her bc i had used it bc of her puking earlier. so i head back to get an outfit for her and then finally make it out the door.

we get to the car and i get colton in and am changing tinsley in the front seat when it starts pouring down rain. so i shut tinsley in, run to get jr and throw him in the back seat and run back to the passanger seat, scoop tinsley up and get in. so there we all sit in the car pouring down rain and a half naked poopy girl. as im trying to change tinsley jr starts yelling " i have to poop, i have to poop"...well, its raining, we are finally to the car....i tell him to climb up front and stand there so i can put a diaper on him. i get that done and finishing changing tinsley. by this point i am dripping with sweat and ready to cry.

I somehow manage to get Jr and Tinsley in thier seats and buckled and me in the driver seat with out getting out in the rain. From there we headed to the game and had to sit in the car another 20min for the rain to pass. But, we were finally there and ready to cheer on the raiders!!!! they won 12-0!

This was one of those nights where all I wanted to do was curl up and cry. Thanking the Lord we all made it thru and are alive to tell about it! haha! Memories, right???

Love this picture and is pretty sure its what my kids are thinking at the moment. I will try to make a long story short to get to the good stuff, so stick with me!

About 8 1/2 weeks ago I went into the doctor bc I thought I was pregnant and I had the mirena put in so I went to right away to get checked out. Well, I wasnt pregnant but they couldnt find the mirena. Well, a couple weeks before this happened I had told Matthew that I just was not at peace about having the mirena. My heart just didnt feel right. So we decided we would pray about it and see what God had in store for us. Then, 2 weeks later this all happened. So we were pretty sure God wasnt done with our family yet. Matthew had a complete change of heart as we felt God leading us to not use any birthcontrol and see what He did and how He would work. Well, 6 weeks after my surgery we found out.... IM PREGNANT!!! We wanted to wait till we went to the doc to tell everyone so we waitind a long 2 weeks and went to the doc yesterday and saw a sweet healthy baby!!! I am about 6 1/2 weeks along. Due the end of november!Tinsley and this baby with be about 13.5 months apart and Jr, my oldest will have just turned 4! WOW! I get a little overwhelmed thinking about it sometime but God has an amazing plan and we are so thankful for this blessing of another baby! Its also so amazing to see how Matthew is so excited about this baby when just a few months ago he was "never going to have anymore kids"...funny how God works! We are super thrilled!

But I think the picture above is too funny....colton "oh no mom and dad not again"....Jr "well sis,i guess you wont be the baby for long"....tinsley "thats okay.i can hang with you right?"

All About COLTON

This picture is a great description of my baby boy Colton. Off in his own world looking for rocks and sticks. The rest of the boys are to the right playing together but not my Colton, he's content playing by himself. There is something special about my boy Colton. He is so fun and lovable. He makes me laugh so hard and his laugh is super contagious. Here are a few things I want to remember about Colton right now.
- He gives the best shuggies. His little lips look like duck lips when he puckers up!
- He loves his bed and will stay in it for hours while being awake. He has to have his pillows (blankets..)
- He still takes his paci.
- He has to be holding a hand always while coming down stairs or the parking lot. He always say "hold my hand momma" I love it!!!
- When we play outside he is in his own world picking up sticks and rocks and digging in the dirt.
- He opens his eyes real big just randomly throughout the day while he is talking and it is so funny!
- He loves to be held, especially by his daddy.
- He is the ultimate daddys boy. He loves me until Matthew walks through the door then it is ALL matthew!
He loves his sister. He will always take the time to lay by her and talk to her and kiss her. She LOVES him too!!!

Not so little anymore...

Yes, we shaved Jr's head tonight! He looks like such a big boy! Matthew was shaving his head and Jr asked if he could so without thinking I said sure, why not! And Im so glad I did! He is so proud of himself! He LOVES his new do!
