Colton's first day of PreK!

Tuesday was Colton's first day of preschool! He was sooo excited and thrilled to be going to school like Jr does! He had a great day and was so excited that he wanted to go back today but unfortunatly he only goes on Tuesday and Thursday.  He has already asked if its nighttime so he can wake up and go to school tomorrow! I am so thankful that he gets to go and enjoy time with other kids and learning new things! This is a whole new world for him and so far he loves it!

Colton and baseball

I absolutly love this video of Colton. We headed out to the yard the other night after the babies went to bed to play some baseball! While colton was batting he decided to take a break to go and check his hot peppers. There are no hot peppers but he had dug a whole a couple months ago and since then it has been where he grows his hot peppers! I love when he goes to balance the bat and puts his hands on his hips! hahaha! And listen closly to the end!

 

 

PreK4

Jr started PreK4 today at Acworth UMC! He went there last year in the 2 day 3's and loved it! Yesterday was actually his first day but he had to miss because we have been a sick house hold latlely. He will be going Monday thru Thursday this year.

Towards the end of summer we were starting to have some difficuly with Jr and his attitude. I think he just gets bored. He needs some structure and thrives on that so I knew with starting school it would help him and help our relationship. I am not very good with structure and scheduling so we butt heads a lot. We are both a work in progress. I am thankful for grace!

And, Colton will be starting school Thursday. We are very thankful and humbled to have the oppurtunity to put Colton in the 2 day 3's this year. We just signed him up today but he didnt stay because he has had the croup cough since last night so we kept him out and he will start Thursday. He is beyond excited to go to school! We are thankful he gets to go and have fun and learn new things. Colton likes to march to the beat of his own drum and plays by himself very well so we will see how this year goes!

Here are some pics of Jr's first day....notice the scab on his chin? I took him colton and westin on a date last night to moes and while we were ordering the food he jumped up and landed down on his chin on the counter. It was ugly and I was just thankful there wasnt blood gushing everywhere. I am also so thankful for nice people who helped me in the midst of the chaos when they could have just turned the other way!

Saturday

This past Saturday we decided to get out and go have some park fun with the kids. It was kinda spur of the moment so before we got to the park we ran thru Sonic and got ourselves a good picnic! ha! We went to downtown Kennesaw so we could play and walk around and hopefully see some trains. I have taken the kids there before a few times but this was Matthews first time to go and walk the tunnel, the boys are obsessed with the tunnel and hearing thier echos! It was fun and beautiful!!

Flashback

I have been looking thru older pictures lately and found these from 2 years ago. We were at a bluegrass festival with my parents. Jr was 2, Colton was 1 1/2 and I was around 7mo pregnant with Tmae! I am so thankful for cameras. They have captured many special memories over these last 5yrs. Like these that I had forgotten about until I saw the pictures.
