Colton's 3!
Happy 3rd birthday to our boy Colton! About this time 3yrs ago we were so excited to see you for the first time! Tou were just perfect and oh so handsome! You were my biggest baby at 7lbs 14oz. I couldnt stop kissing your sweet little nose.
Over these 3yrs you have brought so much joy happiness and laughter to our family! You have a laugh thats contagious. You are a crazy mess and dont care if you are dirty. Really, you could be covered in dirt all day and not care. I love that about you. You love to get yourself dressed and hardly ever match. Your underwear and pants are usually on backwards. You make me smile everytime I look at you after you get dressed!
You love to play outside. If you get ahold of the shovle you will dig in the dirt with your tractoe all day long. You also love to ride your tricycle and will go to the top of the driveway and pick your feet up and fly down the driveway into the garage, dodging stuff along the way. Its awesome.
At night when you go to sleep we have to rub the back of your legs bc your eczema is so bad and you like to have lotion rubbed on it. You also rub your thumb over all your fingertips, a little ocd but it comforts you right to sleep. You love to talk talk talk. You LOVE your brother Westin. You like to lay right ontop of him and talk to him like a baby. You will say over and over again " you so tiny baby westin, you so tiny" Its so funny and sweet! The other day you had jusy got done loving on Westin and you came to sit in my lap and you looked up at me and said " you so tiny momma" It was HALARIOUS!
You love to play cars with Jr. You like for him to be with you while yall play upstairs. If he leaves you, you get very upset and cry for him to come back. He usually will bc he loves to play with you! You love your sister even though she aggrevates you so much. She will steal your toys and run away and you chase her to get it back. Yall are so funny together. If you have to go in a room where the lights are off, you tell us you cant bc "there is a cow" and you are terrified of the chickfila cow. You also hate loud noises. Today at Longhorns when they started signing happy birthday to you, it was really loud, and you started screaming and covered your ears and hid your head in my chest. I loved comforting you, you are a snuggle bug.
We love you and are so very thankful for you and your sweet personality. A few things I dont want to forget about you these days...
- you call croutons, coupons....you love to eat "coupons"!!!!
- the other day when getting jr from school you asked me "why are all these people here" i told you they were here getting thier kids like we were. you said "oh, they are getting dere jrs wike us?" and i said " yes colton they are getting thier jrs"!!! too funny!

5
5 years ago today I became Mrs Matthew Hutson. I love you Matthew and I am so thankful for the awkward introduction we had 5yrs and 7 months ago! For those of you that dont know our story, heres a little recap of the last 5yrs.
We met and 2 weeks later went on our first date. 2 months after that we got engaged and 4 months after that we got married!!!
From there, our family started to grow pretty quickly. We found out the begining of March that we were pregnant with our first baby! Jr was born in October of 2010. He gave us the title mommy and daddy!
When Jr was 7mo old we found out we were pregnant with Colton. He was born 2 days after our 2yr wedding anniversary! We were thrilled to have another boy and excited to grow our family!
When Colton was 9mo old we ound out we were expecting once again. We were so excited and surprised. That December when I was 11 wks pregnant we founnd out that we had lost the baby. During this time I was so very thankful that I had Matthew to walk through this with. Our Baby Bentleigh, we love you and our so thankful for your precious 11wks with us.
10 wks after that we found out we were pregnant with Tinsley Mae, our princess! As my dad said, " i never knew how much i wanted a girl till i got one!" matthew and i both totally agree with this statement. Matthew is head over heels for her and so is she for him. They are so cute together!
After Tinsley we decided we were done having babies but God had other plans! When Tinsley was 3mo old we found out once again we were having another baby, sweet Westin! Our love bug! He has been such a blessing to our family from the moment we knew we were pregnant.
So, 5 yrs...4 kids...many ups and may downs...we are now excited about seeing what the next 5 hold. The past 5 have been full of change and growing so we are ready to see what God has in store for us as we focus on being the Hutson family, complete with 4 littles and a mr and mrs who love each other and cant wait to grow old together! Happy 5 yrs Matthew. I love you!

Room switch!
Matthew and I finally got up the crazy mind to switch our room with the boys room! My brother made the boys these awesome headboards for Christmas but in order to use them we couldnt put them as bunk beds so by taking them apart they had no room in thier room for beds and toys, since thier room is also our playroom. And when westin is ready to join them then there would really be no room for his crib in their room. So we decided to give them the master and turn it into the boys room/playroom. It took a few hours and we still have yet to switch the wall decor around but they are loving thier new room!! Matthew and mines room is a little cramped but we are only in there to sleep so we dont mind at all! The boys are so happy with so much more space!
I was thinking about getting some funky differant sized letter and painting then to match and having "play ball" on the wall since it is a baseball themed room...what do you think?!?
And now mine and Matthews new cozy room! Like our chalkboard wall?!? ha!
The only way Westin will sleep these days is in the swing...so thats where he sleeps! Tinsley did the same thing for a few months! We are working on napping in the bed and once he gets that down then we will try it at night. The boys are pretty heavy sleepers, when they sleep, so it shouldnt be too bad with them in the same room!

Jr...
Jr. My 4yr old. The oldest of the bunch. Hardworking. Stubborn. Loving. Halarious. All boy. Creative. Protective. Teacher. Mommas boy. These are a few of the many words I can use to describe my boy Jr.
Jr is 4yrs and 3mo old. He goes to preschool 2 days a week and LOVES it. He has made so many new friends and learned so much. He knows how to write his name and is learning how to tie his shoe. We practiced for a while today and it wont be long till he wont need my help anymore. He loves to play candyland and color and practice writing on his dry earse board. If he could work all day long he would. If Matthew is ever in the garage working or outside he is right there with him. He loves to help me do the dishes and laundry. His favorite chore is putting a new trash bag in.
He is the best big brother. With Colton he loves to teach him things. He helps him when colton needs it and they love to play cars and monster trucks together. But, they also fight really well together. They have at least 5 wrestling matches a day. They are both all boy. It keeps things interesting around here! Its funny bc sometimes I forget that other boys dont have a brother they play around with all the time and they can get a bit overwhelmed by Jr and Colton and how wild they are together. But I wouldnt have it any other way. They are boys who like to have fun! With Tinsley he loves to help her by picking her up and bringing her toys or her juice. He always calls her his sweet princess!!! He likes to feed her and help her get her shoes on. He is such a big help with her. And, Im pretty sure she thinks hes pretty awesome! He loves to feed Westin and hold him. The other day I had to tear Westin out of Jrs arms bc he didnt want to let him go so I could feed him. It was so funny! He loves his baby Westin.
He works out with me everyday. His favorite thing is to run on the treadmill. He falls asleep in his room but ends up inbetween me and matthew everynight. He is a good eater most of the time and not to picky. He gets himself dressed everyday. These days its bluejeans and a cowboy shirt complete with his cowboy boots. My brother in law, Bobby, said Jr has "swag". I agree and it kinda scares me for when he is a little older. He loves the ladies and they love him. He is such a flirt and once you laugh or smile at him, he keeps going and going and going. He is funny bc he likes to be the center of attention but if we get onto him about something infront of others he gets very very embarrassed and hides in my arms. Everytime we are in the car he wants the music up loud and he gives everyone a "air" instraument to play. his is usually the guitar and colton the drums and me or matthew the piano. he know pretty much every chris tomlin song by heart and it the sweetest sound in the world to hear him sing.
This is such a fun age. He is asking so many questions and wanting to know details about everything. Its soo fun to see him learning! Today he wanted vasaline and I asked him what for and he told me "for his straight line"...meaning, the space between his nose and lip! ha!

Being Greatful
It took me about 5 trys before I got the right title for this post. In the end I landed on "being greatful"! Something I strive to do daily but often times fall short. I have so much to be greatful for. A house with heat and air. Food for my children and me and matthew. Clothes for us all. Shoes for us all. A car. Furniture. Kid toys. Baby toys. A job for my husband. Family who loves us. Friends who care about us. The list could go on and on. But, far too often I find myself asking "why not me". why cant I buy clothes for my kids whenever i want. why cant we go out to eat whenever we feel like it. why cant we take a family vacation every year. why? why? why?....I must stop doing this. Who cares if I only get my haircut once a year. Who cares if I dont drive the best car or wear the best clothes. It doesnt matter, in the end, it doesnt matter. I need to be greatful for all I have. God has blessed me with so much that I dont deserve. I dont deserve my husband, my children, my house, my car, my family, my friends...I dont deserve any of it. But, God has entrusted me with all of it. I pray that I will be greatful for it all and stop asking the "why not me's" because if I keep asking myself that then I am not being greatful for what God has blessed me with and I feel like I am being so unloving to the one who at any moment can take it all away. And I dont want to do that to my Lord and Savior. He above anyone else deserves my full thankfulness and devotion because without Him, none of this would be.---Psalm 100:4 " enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name."---Now, Im not saying there arent going to be times when its hard and I fall short but in those times I want to committ to being greatful for what I do have not what I dont have. I have learned that life is too short to complain all the time. I want to try and be greatful for what I have been blessed with and live life to the fullest. We arent gauranteed tomorrow or the next minute for that matter. So, I want to live a life of gratitude not a life full of complaining.

This week i am thankful!
the past couple of weeks have been crazy in the Hutson household. All last week the kids were sick at different times. Tinsley had it the worst until our sweet little westin bug got it. in the course of about 6 days we had 4 doctors appointments and 3 trips to the ER. Our last trip to the ER has resulted in a 5 day stay at scottish rite with Westin. Long story but I want to document his first and hopefully only stay at the hospital. we had a doctor appt Monday afternoon bc W was still throwing up/choking/coughing/fever. this had been happening for a few days. at the doctors appt after a breathing treatment W's oxygen levels dropped, he stopped breathing and started turning blue. 911 was called and the firemen and emt's were there in no time. after getting his oxygen levels stable we were off in the ambulance to CHOA. they admitted him and he is being treated for rsv/bronchiolitis. breathing treatments, deep suctioning, fluids and antibiotics have consumed our past few days. he is slowly getting better and for that we are so very thankful! his appetite is coming back a little at a time which is good so he came off the fluids last night. this has been a long hard few days for him and matthew and myself. watching your helpless 8 week old continually throw up, cough, choke on mucus several scary scary times, be stuck with needles is the most awful thing to see. i would have given anything to take his place. last night and today have been good. we are hopefully going home today at some point. Being here at CHOA has truly been a humbling time for both matthew and myself. walking the halls and seeing the children who are hooked up to all kinds of monitors, signs that say DNR on their beds, babies who have to be held and fed by the nurses because their parents have not been there one single day with them, talking with moms who have been here for weeks and wont go home with their kids for weeks has been tough for me. I am so very thankful for the health of my kids. yes, we have had very scary moments with westin this week but he is okay. he is healing and will hopefully never have another hospital stay. several times this week the alarms start going off and you hear "code blue rm...code blue rm..." my heart drops when i hear it and i immediately start praying for whoever is in that room. knowing its a child having to suffer breaks my heart. But, thru it all I know and i believe God is good. God is in control. Though we may not understand it, I have faith in knowing Gods plan for our lives and these children's lives here are so much more awesome then we could ever understand. i read this verse last night and it really struck home with me. "may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13....this is my prayer for the families here at CHOA.-----we are so thankful for our family, pops and yaya and granny and pawpaw who have watched our older 3 the past few days. we have missed them like crazy but i haven't wanted to call them bc it upsets them and then i get upset and its just a mess. we did get to take them to dinner one night while matthew's parents stayed with westin. that was wonderful but i cried thru dinner bc i wanted to be back with westin at the same time i didn't want to leave jr colton and tinsley. its been a struggle but we will all be reunited soon enough! we are also sooo thankful for my parents and brothers and sisters who have been here with us visiting and calling everyday to check on their grandbaby and nephew! we have had several friends come by and for that we are grateful for the time they spent with us and westin and the prayers that were prayed over little man. thanking God for his healing hands over westin! i have to go feed him now as he is getting hungrey and mad at his momma!!! lets hope he eats well!

My little sickies :(
This week has been crazy and full of lots and lots of snuggle time! It started with Colton who has had a cough for a while now and throwing up mucus and just pitiful. Tinsley started running a fever when she woke up Tuesday morning. Took her to the doctor and he said she was fine and it was just a virus that had to run its course. Meanwhile colton still had his nasty junk. Westin then started running a fever and coughing Wednesday afternoon. Last night the boys went down good then around 1030 Tinsley woke up miserable but finally fell back asleep. Then Colton got up around 12 screaming and was inconsolable for over an hour saying his head hurt and throwing up. So matthew took him to the ER and as we suspected it was an awful ear infection. They gave him meds and he has been feeling much better. Him and Matthew got home around 330am While they were gone I was up with poor Westin who was coughing gagging spitting up and not wanting to eat. He was sounding very croupy. It was awful and we were going to take him to the ER but instead we stayed up all night bc I could not sleep for watching him breath. This morning Tmae woke up with a high fever for the 3rd day in a row so I called the doctor to get her and wetsin in. Went in and turns out she has double ear infection. They tested her for the flu but it was negetive. We are now keeping a close eye on Westin. The docotr thinks he may be getting RSV. She said day 3 and 4 are the worst so we are watching and waiting and praying that he doesnt get any worse and only gets better!! Last night his croupy cough was awful, praying it doesnt happen again tonight! Jr has a runny nose and a little cough but its not bad thankfully!---I know this may be so boring to those who read thins but I want to start blogging about our everyday lives. The good ones and the bad days. I want to appreciate every moment i have with my babies and remember this time of our life! So you will probably be seeing a lot more "a day in the life" post! The picture is from the doctor this morning. Colton and daddy were at home getting some much needed sleep!

2011....
2011 was a year full of ups and downs. It started off with mine and Matthews 4yr wedding anniversary and 2 days later colton turing 2! Not too long after that we found out that the mirena I had put in after Tinsley had suddenly gone missing. I had to have surgery to get it removed. The day of my surgery, my grandaddy went to be with Jesus. He went peacfully while my grandma and mom both were at his side. I miss my grandaddy but I am so thankful for the time I had with him and the time my kids had with him. He was a funny wonderful man, I miss him! Not too long after this, we found out that we were pregnant. WOW! Talk about excited and a little shocked all at the same time since I had just had surgery to remove the "floating" mirena. The next couple months were filled with babies. We had 2 nieces and 1 nephew born within a few weeks of each other! They are precious and now 7/8 months old. The summer was filled with doctors appointments for me and the baby. Lots of emotions filled this pregnancy and we had to see a high risk doctor because of things they found on unltrasound that suggested Westin could have cystic fibrosis or downesyndrom. They wanted to do test on me and the baby but we opted out as we knew that no matter what we were going to love this sweet baby boy. It was a very hard pregnancy emtionally and physically. In October I was put on bedrest and then modified bedrest both of which are extremly hard with 3 others running wild. The Lord taught me a lot about giving up control, especially when it comes to my kids. I had a lot of help and I am so thankful for it. Also in October Jr turned 4 and Tinsley Mae turned 1! We then met our sweet miracle Westin on November 15th. He is perfect and soo soo sweet! He is a great baby and we are all soo in love! Though this year was full of emotions, it was a good year and a year I am thankful for.-----This coming year I have made a list of a few things I want to do. 1. lose weight and get in shape (i got my tubes tied and dont plan on being pregnant ever again so its time to lose this baby weight I have had for over 4 yrs.) 2.Run a half marathon which I plan on doing with my mom and sisters! and 3. be more intentional about spending good quality one on one time with each of my kids becuase all to often we just get wrapped up in our everyday busy life and we forget to take special time with each of them to love on them and learn more about them! So, heres to an exciting 2012! (and i just thought i would add this picture of my boys. we found them in the dryer the other day...they keep things interesting around here! ha!)
