Wedding Weekend

Our friend Bryan got married this past weekend to his beautiful bride Lindsey!!!
It was such a sweet ceremony! Jr and Colton were the ring bearers. Tinsley was the flower girl and Matthew was a groomsman! SOOO FUN!

We love this couple and are so excited for them!! Thankful we could celebrate and be a part of their special day!!!

We had so much fun on the dance floor with this crew!!!

I thought I had posted this on her actual birthday a few days ago but I did not....mom fail!

Happy Birthday to our 3yr old princess!

The day you were born was one of the happiest days of all our lives! Your brothers, Daddy and I were  beside ourselves with love for this tiny sweet doll baby we were going to love, protect, and care for...always!

You have brought so much joy to our lives in these 3 years! You are a beautiful princess of the King! Fearfully and Wonderfuly made by the creator who loves you even more then your daddy and I do.

You are opinionated and let us know when you are not happy about something. Your brothers usually try to fix it for you.....you have us all wrapped around that sweet finger!
You are also so very gentle and kind! You love so well and care for others so sweetly! You are a little momma through and through! Always caring for your brothers and babies!!

We love you so very much and are so thankful for the gift that you are to this family! One girl in the mix of 3 boys...you are tough. Seriously, this girl is tough!! She will play in the dirt, wrestle, and throw the football with the best of em, But she loves to wear her heels, dress up, and get her hair curled!!! She is very well rounded!!

We love you baby girl and are so thankful for you. Excited to watch you grow and see what God has in store for you this year!!!

HAPPY 6TH BIRTHDAY TO OUR JR!!!!!!

6yrs ago you entered this world 5 weeks early. I had been on complete bedrest in the hospital for a week due to seizure high blood pressure. No showers, no moving, just laying and anxiously awaiting your arrival! You, my boy, were going to give us one of our most treasured titles! "momma and daddy"!!!

It was a night I will never forget! A crazy reaction to the cervadil which made me incredibly sick. My water breaking "accidentally" by a nurse. My blood pressure staying dangerously high and your heart rate dropping dangerously low. A few hours of labor ending in an emergency csection!  You were then whisked away quickly by the nurses to the NICU because of your breathing. After the longest 8hrs of my life I was finally able to see and hold my boy! You were so tiny but strong!

Your daddy brought me this picture of you that the nurses gave him to give to me so that I could see you. I was so thankful for all of the updates but I just wanted to hold you and snuggle you!!!

Holding you for the first time was the most amazing feeling in all the world!!!

We love you Jr and are so proud of the young boy you are becoming! You are sweet! You are strong!
You are sooo very funny! You are an incredible oldest brother! You are the life of the party! You are a snuggler! You are stubborn! You are determined! You are loved! You are a child of Jesus and we pray you never ever forget that!

These 6yrs have flown by and a lot has happened in your life. We look so forward to seeing where God takes you as you continue to grow and learn in this coming year!!

Brothers and Sisters

We went to the fair the other week! We go every year in September and have the best time!

 

These boys make me so happy! There is something about brothers!!! They are wild and fun and crazy and dirty!
I had a lady at the park the other day tell me "you really shouldnt let your boys play like that..."
My boys were rough housing with one another and being boys and no one was getting hurt. I just had to laugh at her because she had a 2yr old daughter. Honestly, its hard to understand brothers until you grow up with them or you have sons! Their awesome and taking the "boy" out of them is just wrong!

Then we have our sweet princess! She is a tough girly girl! She knows what she wants and she knows how to get it!! ha! Growing up with 2 sisters, there are many days that I long for Tinsley to have a sister. They are the best and I honestly dont know what I would do without them in my life! My prayers for Tinsley is that as she grows she will find herself some amazing girlfriends who are just like sisters to her! But, she is one blessed girl to have her 3 brothers looking out for her!!!

 

 

We have spent a lot of time outside playing and working!!! I interviewed the kids today and was asking them each some questions and every single one of them said that their siblings were their best friends!!! I melted! They may fight like cats and dogs but they love each other something fierce!!!! Its beautiful to watch and be a part of!

 

 

 

And, on an exciting note...my wedding band that I was told by my then 4yr old was flushed down the toilet about 1.5-2yrs ago has been FOUND!!!! Matthew was moving the filing cabinets in our master closet and was getting ready to vacumm it out when colton comes to me holding a ring in his hand that he had found in between the carpet and baseboards behind where the filing cabinets were. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our Summer 2013

It has been a busy and laidback kind of summer! We made some great memories these last few months and I am so thankful for the times we had this summer! School has started and we are getting in somewhat of a routine around here.

For this post I wanted to take a look back at our summer...

We went to beach camp with the high schoolers from church

We welcomed home our newest nephew Judson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best part of the summer!!!!!!

Happy 4th of July!

This young man stayed dirty...all summer!!!

These kids kept us entertained and happy and tired and frusterated and over joyed and loved...

We kept Benjamin over night!!!!

We picked the garden!

We spent many nights out on the boat!

We went to St Simons with my family! SO MUCH FUN! and LOUD!

The kids had their first sleepover at our friends courtney and chris's! we had to get jr around 10pm bc he was home sick but the other three slept all night!

We started training for a half marathon! its in october!

We went camping!

We spent more time on the boat with cousins!

Baseball started back....life of a baseball sister!

Jr had a homework assignment before school even started and he loved every minute of it!

School is back in session....
