Last night Yaya, Uncle Bradley, Aunt Heather, Andrew and Sarah Beth came over to play! Pops is out of town till Sunday in CA! This is one of the best pics we could get of all of Pops and Yayas grandbabies together!


And in other news..............WE ARE PREGNANT!!!
Thats right Jr and Colton are going to be big brothers!!!
We are so excited and cant wait to welcome our little gift into this family in June!

Jr's 2nd Birthday Party!

He got a new baseball glove! At church the next day he would not take it off for church so he brought it in and wore it the whole time! My brother was so proud!

We had so much fun celebrating Jr's 2nd birthday. He will not be 2 until Wednesday but we had his party this past saturday. It was so much fun. We had it at Matthews parents house and there were about 50+ people there. We both have big families and then with adding friends you cant help but have a big party. But I love it and feel so blessed to have family and friends who want to be part of my child's life! Praise God! I am hoping Matthew will surprise us and take us to the aquarium Wednesday. Jr loves fish these days and that is actually what we are getting him for his birthday, is a little aquarium for the house! I will post pics of that later!

North Georgia State Fair!

When we were leaving the fair. Colton LOVES his sling!

He Loved the car before it started moving and then he just cried the whole time! Poor boy. they couldnt stop the ride so everytime he went past us he lost it.

He did like this ride bc I was right next to him but then when it started he clung to me for dear life.

We had so much fun at the fair. We actually went 2 night in a row. Once with my twin sister and here husband and then with my other sister and her boyfriend and my parents. It was so much fun. Jr just loved watching all the lights and people. He could care less about the rides! Next year might be differant because Colton will be able to ride with him. So he might like it better with a buddy!!!

We're Back!!!

A lot has happened since I last blogged back in May. I do love to blog and do it to keep up with the boys so I do need to start doing it more often. Life just gets busy and I forget. So hopefully I can get back into it and be better so I can have it for the future to remember my life with my boys day to day!

It is crazy to say but Colton is now 8 months old. He is so sweet and just a GREAT baby. He has started to crawl and goes from laying down to sitting up very well on his own. He has 1 little tooth that is just so precious and he loves it when I show it off to everbody.

I might start crying writing this but Jr will be 2 in just a couple of weeks! He is such a fun loving little boy. He has definatly hit his terrible twos (those of you who have seen it know what im talking about!) But oh he is so sweet and loving and has a servants heart just like his daddy. He loves to help me cook, clean, change bobos diaper and give him a bath. It is so sweet to watch him be a big brother.

Matthew and I are loving this life God has blessed us with and we know we so dont deserve any of it but are so thankful for it all! Enjoy some recent pictures of the boys and check back often for updates. I am going to try and do it daily or every other day. We will see how that goes! It might just be a couple pics a day or something. But I feel I need to do this for me even if no one else reads it!

Lake Chatuge!

This past week we went up to the lake with my dads side of the family! It was so much fun. Matthew brought the boat so there was plenty of tubing, wakboarding, and sking! It was great to get away from here for a while!Enjoy the pictures! This week Matthew is in DC and I will be meeting him up there Thurs for a little getaway! Cant wait! I think I am going to take the boys to ChuckeeCheeses for the first time! I think Jr will love it! So look for pics of that adventure! I aiso am taking the boys for Coltons 4 month well check and Jr and I will both be getting shots along with Colton, should be interesting!

I love my boys so very much! They are just so stinkin cute! Here are a few pics of them that my cousin Lesley took recently and I just have to share them! I know I might be being the crazy bragging mom but I just dont care bc tomorrow is Mothers Day, so I guess I have that as my excuse!!!(haha) enjoy!

Recent Happenings...

I am just going to put up a few pics of the boys i have taken recently...they are growing so fast! In one of the pictures of jr you can see that he has a few booboos on his face. We were leaving church on sunday and jr was a little tired bc we are at church every sunday from 9a-2p and the past week we had not gotten much sleep so he wasnt paying much attention and he didnt even try to step up on the curb...he just face planted on the sidewalk...poor baby, but he barley even cried!On another note, yesterday matthews aunt cherry went to be with the Lord...she was a beautiful woman and we will miss her but we know she is in no more pain and is walking in the arms of Jesus right now!Please be in continued prayer for matthews family, especially his nana.

easter weekend!

we had a wonderful easter weekend! saturday was a busy day. we went to the cedarcrest church easter egg hunt with 30000 eggs! wow! jr had a blast hunting all the eggs! last year he was too little so this was the first year for him to do it and actually know whats going on! it was so much fun! then that night we went to my nephews 4th bday party! AJ is so stinking cute and was loving having everyone there at his party! I didnt have my camera the whole weekend...i was so mad but i left it at my house and we were at my parents the whole weekend...so all the pics i have are from other peoples cameras! Anyways, sunday we got up and went to church and then went back to my parents house to have easter with my mom and dads family! It is always so much fun with all the kids doing the egg hunt! And we have a tradition where all the ladies go into my moms room and stuff all the eggs for the kiddos and i always love that time to hang out with my sisters,mom and all my aunts! After that was done we went to matthews grandparents house for easter dinner! Pawpaw had been saving up for months and had us all a steak for dinner...it was a great surprise! We had so much fun playing outside with jr and andrew and bubbles...those boys love bubbles! we are so very blessed to have the families that we do! we love you all so very much! here are a few pics from the weekend!

2 month well check!

Today was Colton's 2 month well check! Matthew usually goes with me to the well checks because Jr absolutly hates the doctor..when he even hears the doc outside of the door he starts to scream his head off! But today Matthew is helping set up an easter program downtown so I decided to drop Jr off with granny and pawpaw so I could focus all my attention on Colton and not have Jr screaming and trying to escape from the room the whole time!. I knew he would be getting shots but I had no idea he would be getting 5 shots! So the doctor came in and did all of his checking and told me that I have got a big boy on my hands! He now weighs 13.8 lbs and is 23 3/4 in long. He also told me that his little head favors one side over the other so we have to do some at home therapy to help with the turning of his head! Colton absolutly hates it but it doesnt hurt him and it will help so he wont have to wear a helmet later on! All in all he is a healthy big boy! All the pics were taken today after the doctor! Yesterday was his 2 month birthday!

Spring time!!!

Spring time is upon us and we are loving it! We love to play outside now and when it is time to come in it is a fight because Jr does not want to come inside! I will have more pics to show of that later but for now here are a few pics of Jr and Colton hanging out together! Jr is 16 months and Colton is 6 weeks old! They are so much fun and I am loving every minute with my boys! Being a stay at home momma is such a blessing and I thank God everyday that I get this special time with my boys! I found out the other day of some stay at home moms who have full time nannies...are you serious??? I mean I can understand maybe 1 or 2 days a week but 5 days a week...that is just so sad to me....its like they dont want to have to deal with their own life...CRAZY! Anyways...thats just my little rant for the day! We also recently had Colton's baby dedication! We were so blessed to have our family there with us and it was such a special day! I will post pics as soon as I get them!
